Is Hawaii the most magical place on earth? Yes, yes it is. I’m super sad that this is my last Hawaii post but thankful to have these amazing photos as memories of all that we did! It was so fun traveling with this gorgeous gal you’ll see below. We literally made the memories of a lifetime. I remember meeting Hannah for the first time in Charlottesville a little over a year ago and ironically, we had acai bowls that day. Little did we know we’d be eating real, much more delicious acai bowls together in Hawaii not too long after. We talked that day about traveling and I mentioned that I’m always looking for people to travel with me! It’s hard to make it work with most of the people I know because their 9-5 jobs just don’t allow things like traveling. But Hannah mentioned wanting to visit California and I told her we totally had to make that happen. My life got super busy after that and although I didn’t forget about traveling with her, I was just waiting for the right opportunity. I started missing Hawaii about six months ago and I mentioned to Hannah about potentially going if we found cheap flights and a place to stay. I asked my friend Sunny if she’d be okay with us staying with her and she said she’d ask her mom and get back to me. I didn’t hear back from her for a couple weeks so I told Hannah it probably wouldn’t happen. I didn’t really have it in the budget for an Airbnb as well so I just told her that we’d trust God and if it was supposed to happen, it would and if not, we could always do another trip or go another time. Well, soon after, Sunny let me know her mom had agreed to let us stay in their guest bedroom! WOO! After that, I saw some cheap flights but they were terrible travel times and layovers almost a day long. That just didn’t seem worth it to me. But I just kept an eye out and put up alerts on all my sites and sure enough, I ended up finding affordable flights. Affordable is relative when it involves flying from DC to Honolulu but it was way better than they usually are! Haha. I’m so grateful to Sunny and her amazing mom for housing us!! We loved our time on the North Shore and I can’t even begin to express how much it means that they allowed us to come! So Sunny, thank you, friend!! <3

But now onto these gorgeous photos of Hannah!! We were so tired every night that we almost didn’t do this shoot but we decided to hop over to Waimea Bay one of our last days there, which was super close to where we were staying and it ended up being the most beautiful sunset!! I’m so glad we made time for headshots of each other. The waves were crashing against the rock and the sand was soft beneath our feet as the sun set over the horizon and it was the most peaceful thing. I love getting to photograph each person that I travel with; it’s just a fun reminder of that season of life and all my gorgeous friends!! So here’s a few photos of Han!
