Every year winter comes around and a slight depression sets in from the cold and short days. I purposefully try to plan at least one trip somewhere warm between the months of December and March and this year it ended up being to the absolutely gorgeous West Palm, Florida. I have a friend who used to live there and have heard so many good things but it blew all my expectations out of the water.

Let’s just say it’s a photographer’s dream. The homes, the beaches, the streets…. Everything is manicured. I felt like I was in a movie. It wasn’t quite warm enough to have beach days while we were there so we spent a lot of time exploring some of the celebrity neighborhoods and if you were following me on Instagram at the time, you know what I’m talking about.

I am hoping to have some time to do a whole blog post on our trip with personal photos but my couple’s session with Sarah and Kevin will give you a preview! I posted a while back that I was traveling down to Florida and would love to book a couple’s shoot if anyone following me was in the area. That’s when I heard from Sarah! Sarah actually knows one of my past brides and had been following me for a while so it was perfect!

I met these two for the first time the day we arrived. I went straight from the airport to the car rental place to Worth Avenue to meet up with them and we had the best time exploring this absolutely stunning street full of shops and colorful alleyways.

I can’t get over how beautiful this town is and it made my week to get to photograph these two in it. Sarah and Kevin, I loved my time with you both SO much! I am thankful our paths crossed and we got to make this happen! Congrats on your new engagement and best of luck with wedding planning!
