Well hello, everyone! I accidentally took a three month break from my blog and with every passing day, I get a little further behind with sharing. I actually got engaged back in September for those of you who didn’t know and we ended up doing a super small wedding November 5th! I can’t wait to share photos soon but to say it was a busy fall would be an understatement. Between planning a small wedding in a month, shooting my own weddings, moving, and editing, I had zero free time. But my life has finally calmed down after getting settled in a new place and figuring out this whole marriage thing and I am back on track!
I have missed blogging so much and while it’s going to take me some time to get all my recent work up here, I figured I needed to begin somewhere. So I wanted to first share a senior session back from the fall. I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren’s sister, Ann Ashley last year on their farm and I quickly fell in love with their sweet family (and all the animals on their farm), so it was the easiest “yes” when their mom reached back out to me this time around.
I already knew their property from last year and there are SO many beautiful spots so I couldn’t wait to go back! Also, I have come to love sessions that involve horses and with both Ann Ashley and Lauren, I got to hang out with their horse babies. Their family is really into riding and they spend a lot of time caring for their animals on their property so it only makes sense that we include them!
We had absolutely gorgeous light on this day and I truly had the best time with Lauren!! She is so much fun and I adored our time together. Enjoy a few of my favorites from our session!
