This engagement session feels like a lifetime ago!!! Kellen and William hired me to capture their engagements and wedding about a year and a half ago and I am still not over these images. Since they weren’t based on Oahu, we did their engagement photos the same week of their wedding! That was so much fun because I really got to know them and spend a lot of time with them before I shot their big day. I am obsessed with couples doing engagement photos! I seriously feel like friends with my couples by the time I finish their shoot and it’s the best feeling going into a wedding day feeling that way about your couples! It creates a much more relaxed environment where everyone trusts me and that allows me to capture the best images I can!

Kellen and William were an incredible couple! They were so kind, fun, stylish, and their wedding day (which I’ll share next on the blog), was STUNNING!! It was full of color and was an absolute dream for me to capture! After shooting a lot of neutral, pastel weddings in Virginia, I was DYING over their bright and colorful day! I cannot wait to share but first I have to share their epic engagement session because this, too, was a dream! I’ve shared quite a few shoots on the blog before from this gorgeous location but it truly never gets old! There’s so much variety here and the sunsets never let you down! It was so vibrant and green for their shoot and Kellen and William just radiate joy! They also chose such great outfits! It really was an all around perfect shoot!

I have been dying to share these on the blog and now that I’ve shared their engagements, I can work on getting their wedding up which might be one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever shot! Stay tuned!
