This Veritas winery wedding with Bernadette and Michael was so worth coming back to Virginia for! Sam and I booked this right before we decided to move to Hawaii and I didn’t have it in my heart to have an associate shoot it so we used it as a chance to visit family and go back home. It was one beautiful wedding day and Bernadette and Michael are just real life angels. We wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else on this very chilly, snowy, and windy March day in the Virginia mountains. Haha. Classic Virginia…. we saw just about every season in one day!

I’m still building my wedding business out here in Hawaii and it’s been a bit slower so it was just really nice to know I had this on the books. The Virginia wedding venues and wineries, especially, hold a really special place in my heart. Honestly, the wineries are the main thing I miss about Virginia. There are no wineries in Hawaii. It has its own beauty that I wouldn’t trade but winery days were how Sam and I spent many afternoons and weekends back in Virginia.

I’m so glad we got to come back for this beautiful day and I hope you all enjoy seeing the beauty of Virginia. If you haven’t visited the Charlottesville area, you have to take a trip and just enjoy winery hopping for a day or weekend! It’s such a stunning place!
