Photographing this senior portrait session was seriously the highlight of my year. This location is always everyone’s favorite and it’s pretty obvious why. Those mountains are some of the most epic mountains you’ll ever see and add in the beach and palm trees and it’s unreal. I’ve mentioned this before but this location has sadly become a bit overrun with photographers. I don’t recommend it much anymore because of this but Mikayla and I got incredibly lucky this day. It rained right before her shoot and cleared out the whole beach. We had it all to ourselves and that always makes shooting a lot easier and more relaxed.

Mikayla had the most amazing dress and I just felt like I was in a dream the whole shoot. She was an absolute joy to work with and she even was open to getting in the water!! The good part about this beach is that the water is usually super calm so I was able to hop in with her without needing an underwater housing. I got my entire outfit soaked but it was absolutely worth it!
