This wedding was such a fun one for me because I actually knew both Kate and Taylor separately from when I was younger! I went to high school with Kate and I actually did lifeguarding class with Taylor way back in the day! The world is a wild place and it is SO fun that Kate and Taylor ended up getting married. Their relationship began a good bit after high school and it’s just so crazy how worlds collide like they did for these two! I hadn’t seen either of them in a really long time until they hired me for their gorgeous wedding day but I am so glad I got to be a part of their day. It was absolutely perfect! Sky Ridge Farm was such a beautiful backdrop and seeing all Kate and Taylor’s absolute closest friends there with them was so sweet!

There were a few moments from this day that I will never forget, all of which were emotional. The first was when Kate’s dad came in to see her for the first time. There were tears and it was precious. There’s nothing I love more than a great daddy daughter first look. The second moment was when I went outside with Taylor and he read his letter from Kate. It was a long one and Taylor broke down and those images I captured are some of my all time favorites. I love that you can just feel so much by looking at the one specific shot I shared. And the third and last favorite moment of mine was definitely the first look. Again, there were tears and seeing Taylor’s face as he saw Kate warmed my heart so much. I could just feel in that moment the love he had for Kate and I am SO glad they saw each other before the ceremony because that shot is priceless.
