Heather and Wes’s Seclusion wedding was one of my favorites this year! This year has been SO much fun for me because I have been shooting at all new venues and I have been incredibly inspired because of that. One of the biggest things that inspires me is being in new places. Everything is fresh and I just get excited to create something completely original and new for me! A lot of inquiring brides ask me if I’ve shot at their venue before but honestly, I think it’s almost better if a photographer hasn’t shot at your venue because they are going to be extra thrilled to be in a place that is unfamiliar and full of new spots to shoot!!

So with that being said, this was a new venue for me and getting to have Heather and Wes as my first Seclusion couple was the best thing! Heather and Wes were a blast to work with. They are fun, so kind, and they let me get as carried away with photos as I wanted, especially during portraits. Their wedding day blew me away in every way! It was the epitome of rustic elegance and the backdrop of the flower field with the mountains in the distance just about stopped my heart when I was photographing them. Their images are some of my all-time favorites and I just adore how precious every moment was on this day, from the letter readings to the tears while getting ready to the speeches.

As always, it was an absolute honor to capture this day and I will forever be scrolling back through these images because I love them so much! Heather and Wes, you guys are amazing and I am beyond glad you were able to have your wedding even with all the chaos and unknowns of Covid!!
