If you’ve followed me for a while, you probably remember Hannah Jane’s senior portraits from a couple years ago! Well, this is Hannah Jane’s sister Samantha! I can’t believe it’s already been two years since her sister’s portraits. I remember Hannah Jane mentioning her sister to me and her mom saying it wouldn’t be too long before it was her turn but that felt so far away. It’s amazing how much can happen in two years because my life looks a WHOLE lot different than it did then and I never would have guessed how much would have changed.
But here we are! I am so thankful for where I am today personally and within my business. My style has evolved into something I’m even more proud of and looking at these images, I just smile because photographing seniors has always been a passion of mine and I’ve gotten to photograph so many over the years. Samantha’s shoot was definitely a favorite of the year!
We walked all around the beautiful property at the Market At Grelen last month and this place offers endless backdrops! I always love shooting here because they have the best sunsets and views. It’s such a unique place and I love how Samantha’s outfits fit so well with the colorful, garden feel. I also shot a few rolls of film on my Contax 645 at this shoot because that camera needed dusting off and it was so fun matching my digitals to the film. I said this on my last post that I shot film as well but if you can pick out the films shots, I’ll give you a high five. Haha!!
But anyway, here are a few of my favorites! Which one is your favorite from the bunch?!
