I can’t believe this wedding was now two months ago! This was my first wedding of the season and I mean it when I say it was the perfect wedding day. It felt so good to be shooting again after a long winter break. Laura and Dylan are the kindest, warmest people and were the perfect couple to start my 2021 wedding season off. I say this a lot but my couples are truly my type of people and I am so thankful. Laura was the chillest bride and just went along with everything I asked of her, which allowed for some gorgeous photos!
While I normally really encourage an engagement session before the wedding, Laura and Dylan had already done some photos with someone else before they hired me so I didn’t do an engagement session with them. On the rare occasion this happens, I always try to FaceTime my couples so I got to chat with them that way beforehand but I didn’t officially meet them until the big day! But I really felt like I had known them for much longer. They are so full of joy and just put a smile of the face of anyone around them!
I had a lot of favorite moments from their day but I think my top moment was when Laura was reading the letter Dylan wrote her (and watching a video he recording of himself reading the letter). She started crying and it made me cry too!! I have the hardest time not getting emotional when my couples do. It’s just so beautiful to witness those types of moments and I will never take that for granted.
I’m obsessed with their stunning sunset portraits and am so excited to finally be sharing this day on the blog! Laura and Dylan, I’m so thankful to have worked with you!! I hope you enjoy reliving your day through these photos once again! Here are a few of my favorites.
