Wow, where do I even begin?! This was my very first session after moving to Hawaii and I just remember how excited I was. I will never forget it. It felt like an absolute dream come true getting to say I lived here and that I do photography here. And that was only in the first month of living here. I had no idea how much more was in store for me with work and just life in general. I am truly blessed and I have SOOOO much work to share!! I am the luckiest girl to get to do what I love in one of the most beautiful places in the world!!

This shoot was truly the most perfect one to start off my business here. One thing you may not notice in these photos though is how windy it was. Thankfully Rosanna and Eddie were super understanding and patient! It’s so funny because shooting in wind can definitely be a bit tricky at times and this ended up being the windiest session I’ve ever had, even still to this day. I actually remember thinking afterwards how I better get used to it because that was probably going to be the new normal for me. But actually, I haven’t had a windy shoot since. Haha! I am proud of myself for making it work though!

But despite that, it was truly a dream!! In fact, the very last photo in this set might be the most epic photo I’ve ever taken. The views on this little island are truly breathtaking. There are so many moments I’m shooting or driving or just sitting on the beach and I cannot believe I live here. I am so excited to be sharing a ton of new work from the last six months!
