This family shoot from back in December was one that I walked away from feeling SO excited about. It definitely was not easy capturing four wild boys but I am so proud of this session because of it. I feel like my ability to capture the in between moments where no one was sitting still was challenged but I love the results so much. This location has quickly become one of my favorites and the light this evening was truly magic.

I have been photographing families nonstop for the last year and a half since we moved. It has been so much fun! Knowing I get to capture these priceless memories for parents is beyond special. The Wilichinsky family was an absolute joy to work with and their boys were such a blast. When I photographed this session, I had just gotten over my first trimester morning sickness and was barely showing. It was so special to begin to tell people that I was pregnant. Just the way I felt after getting married and shooting weddings is how I now feel about capturing families. It’s a beautiful new perspective that makes me so excited about what I get to do.
