This family session at Aulani was such a favorite from last year! I’ve never had a family request getting in the water before Christina so I was really excited about that! The lagoons over in KoOlina are the best spot to get in the water because it’s always super calm and the sunsets never disappoint. The shots I got at the very end are some of my all time favorites!

We walked all over the resort area, stopping anywhere that looked beautiful! I have a few favorite locations that I tend to hit in this area and they are always so lovely. We truly had such perfect light this evening and Christina’s kids were so sweet and fun! I don’t often do family photos with older kids so this was a nice change for me. I definitely adore capturing little kids but when the older ones can listen and actually know what you’re saying, that’s always nice. Haha!!

I truly cannot believe it’s been six months since I captured this session. I had found out I was pregnant only a couple months earlier so looking back on these photos just reminds me of that time and makes me realize how FAST time goes. Gosh!! Now I’m due with a baby any day now and my life is about to change forever. Makes me appreciate all these sweet families I get to photograph and how important it is to get photos done!
