I had the privilege of capturing this beautiful family a while back and these images have just been sitting on my computer and I have been waiting for the time to share them on the blog! I absolutely LOVE this beach and it’s actually one of the few beaches that’s just lined with palm trees on Oahu. I’m sure there are a few more but they’re weirdly hard to find so it’s always a favorite when I send over location ideas. It really is stunning and this day, everything was so colorful and the sky looked so dreamy. I think it was a little hazy this day so the way the sun was shining through just turned everything into cotton candy!

The Richards family was SO sweet and looking back, I can’t remember exactly how old their little girl was here but I do know she was so darn fun!! She was full of giggles and spunk and I loved every second of photographing her. Kaci and her husband interacted with her in such a genuine and sweet way and it really made for such a natural photoshoot. I say this all the time but when a family can just relax and just have fun with their kids the way they would at home, the photos turn out so great. When you expect your child to just sit and look at the camera, you might be disappointed. Haha! But you’ll see in the images below, we introduced lots of play and actions which kept this little munchkin interested.
