Portraits and business headshots always end up being some of my favorite shoots. And sometimes the most last minute locations, like this one, are the best. Autumn is one of my best friends and we actually lived together with our other best friend McKenna for a few years before we all got married. Those were some of the most precious years of my life. I honestly don’t know what I would do without their friendship. I am forever thankful God so perfectly placed them in my life when he did. These girls will be in my life forever, that is for sure.

But a lot of things have changed over the years! In the last two years, we all got married, McKenna had a baby, and the biggest change is that Autumn and her husband are moving. We are all super sad but they are about to begin a new adventure in Aspen, Colorado! Aaron is an amazing architect and got a really fun job out there so we’re excited for them!

As for Autumn, she has always played around with photography and dabbled in it. For for the last couple years, she’s worked for a family photographer in town! But now that she’s leaving, she’s actually starting up her own family photography business, which is why I did her headshots! I was super honored when she asked me. We ended up deciding last minute to shoot at this newly renovated warehouse turned restaurant. It was such a perfect backdrop for Autumn’s style and I love how the photos turned out!
