Are you guys ready for this dreamy, Taylor Swift-inspired engagement session? I have been looking forward to this session since Ashley emailed me a photo of the pink dress. Yes, the PINK DRESS. It needs no explanation. Haha! You’ll see it about halfway through this post and you’ll probably love it as much as me. But before we get to that, Ashley and Nicholas actually live in Atlanta but are planning their wedding from afar. Ashley has family not too far from their venue which is why they chose to get married at the Middleburg Barn! I’m dying to see Ashley’s amazing sense of style come to life on her big day. She has such a bright and bold personality but a super elegant style so it’s going to be good!

I have no doubt their wedding is going to be just as romantic and dreamy as their engagement session from this past weekend. We shot at one of my favorite venues and Ashley’s dress couldn’t have been a more perfect outfit for the backdrop. Most of you know this about me but I love a good outfit. It’s always so inspiring and it also makes the photos stand out! When Ashley changed into that pink gown for their second outfit, I knew it was time to put on some dancing music. I asked them if they had any favorite artists and Ashley immediately goes, “I really love Taylor Swift!”

She was telling me how Taylor didn’t have the rights to one of her old albums so she re-recorded all of her old songs. I don’t stay up to date on T. Swift so I didn’t know but apparently it’s a big deal so we had some nostalgic moments. It even brought me back to when I listened to her more when she first became popular! It was so much fun frolicking through the fields and twirling in front of the epic mansion. We had such a beautiful spring day and I am so excited to share their session below! Hope you enjoy!
