This wedding from August last year was one of my all time favorites! I knew from talking to Ashley that her day was going to be stunning but showing up and seeing all the details and planning she put into it blew my mind! I was so excited to shoot at Middleburg Barn because it was a new venue for me and that’s always something that brings new creativity to a wedding day. Getting to shoot in new spots and have new backgrounds brings my soul alive!

The day started, as always, with details — specifically, a Galia Lahav gown, which was a dream to photograph! Ashley had the most stunning details and I had the best time capturing them. Just wait until you see her engagement ring and wedding band!! But way more importantly than the details, they had such a sweet group of people surrounding them. I feel like I captured more images of people crying and getting emotional on this day than I have in a long time. It was really precious to see!

During their ceremony, they were surrounded by their favorite people under the most magical floral arch I’ve ever photographed and after that, everyone danced and partied the night away like I’ve never seen. Their crew made the dance floor bump all night LONG. There were two balconies on opposite ends of the dance floor in the barn and at one point, the bridesmaids were on one side and the groomsmen on the other and they had a dance off. As a photographer, sometimes receptions can slow down and there’s not always a ton to photograph but that was not the case for this day. Their guests kept me busy and entertained and I loved every second of it!! Enjoy their gorgeous wedding below!
