A few months I ago I had the pleasure of going over to Maui to work with the absolute best of the best, Unveiled Hawaii, on a stunning 50th birthday celebration for John! It was a dream come true to get to work with Lorrie and photographing this multiple day event was absolute perfection. The first day was the welcome party at the Andaz and the actual birthday celebration was at Makena Golf Club which I’ll share next.

I absolutely loved the bright, fun colors of this welcome event on the water and it truly couldn’t have been more stunning. John and his wife Piper were so kind and sweet to work with and it was a fun change of pace to shoot a birthday rather than a wedding. I actually loved it. Getting to photograph beautifully curated details is one of my favorite things about my job and as you’ll see below, this day did not skimp on the details. Lorrie really is one of the most talented designers/planners I know and if you’re looking for someone amazing with a heart of gold, she’s your girl!
