These photos literally put the biggest smile on my face. These are our sweet friends Tess, Davey, and little Charlie. We met them super quickly after moving to Oahu and they immediately welcomed us into their hospitable family. They are actually from South Africa originally and are currently there right now because they went home to welcome their precious baby girl into the world! It’s so wild looking at these images and knowing Tess was pregnant with her and now she’s earth-side! Being pregnant myself, I now understand and appreciate so much more what photos like this mean. They are absolutely priceless.

I am SO thankful I got to photograph them before they left to go back to South Africa. We had the most perfect night at the beach and the light was just glowing. Charlie is the happiest, most fun little guy and he had us giggling the entire shoot! It makes me so excited to get to meet their new addition when they come back. And we are definitely counting down the months until we have them back on the island because we’ve missed them so much over the last few months!

I hope these photos bring you as much joy as they did me. They are some of my favorite family photos of all time and I just feel like they capture the love Tess and Davey have for each other and for Charlie so well. Their kiddos are lucky to have such amazing parents!
