Gosh, I have been blogging so many of my favorite shoots lately and it feels SO good to have them live here!!! I feel like I’m not the best at Instagramming more than one image from a shoot these days so getting a full blog up feels so productive! The goal is to have a place where potential clients can really see a huge variety of my work and hopefully it helps them to connect and want to work with me! 🙂
This senior session is an all time favorite and I don’t think that will ever change no matter how many years pass. Brooklyn was not only such an easy subject to photograph but we somehow got the most INSANE light at this location that I’ve ever seen. I have a love/hate relationship with this spot and honestly only like it if it’s sunny. We got soooo lucky and I really think that is what made these images stand out. Also, I don’t normally shoot with a reflector but some of these spots are under trees and need a little extra pop so that helped brighten everything!
I’ve decided Brooklyn should 100% pursue modeling because holy moly, I just couldn’t believe I was photographing a senior in high school. I definitely directed her and posed her but she knew exactly how to stand, angle her face, and move to make it feel the most natural. I absolutely love how these turned out and I know I always say this but I hope 2023 is full of lots more senior shoots!! They’re truly the best!
