I’m really unsure how six months has already passed since I did this fall senior session! So much has changed in my life since I shot these and it feels nostalgic sharing some of my work from last year. I absolutely love it though! I had photographed Emily’s sister Riley a year prior so I knew their family already and was so excited to shoot another Hamp sister! My seniors really are the most stylish and fashionable girls. Every time I share an image of one of my senior sessions on Instagram, everyone comments, “I wish I had been this stylish when I was a senior in high school.”
It’s so true, though. My personal senior portraits looked nothing like this so it’s super fun to see how senior portraits have evolved. I remember when I booked my senior portraits, I only knew of one photographer who was the style I wanted but I ended up going with a studio thinking it would be cheaper because it only cost around $100 for the actual time with the photographer. What I didn’t really understand was that I would have to pay hundreds of dollars for any prints and to be able to download the files. I remember it being close to $1,000, if not more. My senior photos didn’t turn out the way they would have if I had hired the other photographer I really wanted. They ended up feeling fake and staged.
The amazing thing about hiring me for senior portraits is that you will have access to download all the edited files. You won’t have to spend any additional money beyond what you pay up front unless you want to buy prints through me, which is another thing I don’t require. You’ll have freedom with your photos!
